BlakDance’s Performing Country is a purposefully crafted On Country residency for contemporary Indigenous choreographers to develop new dance works. Through a creative development residency tour throughout Queensland, leading Indigenous choreographers will engage local communities in the creation of their work, collaborate with community leaders and emerging artists, and uncover the next generation of Indigenous performance makers.
