Wakka Wakka Kombumerri choreographer Katina Olsen has worked throughout Australia, Canada, UK, USA and Europe with Atamira, Sydney Dance Company, Stalker Theatre, Australasian Dance Collective (ADC), Bangarra Dance Theatre, Force Majeure, Erth, GUTS Dance, Frances Rings, Meryl Tankard, Martin del Amo, Victoria Hunt, Narelle Benjamin, Dr Vicki Van Hout, Liesel Zink and Wesley Enoch. Katina’s choreographic highlights include WHITE LIES for GUTS Dance Desert Hothouse, gundirgan, wise woman, Queensland Ballet’s first First Nations work for their 2024 Bespoke season, Mother’s Cry for Sydney Dance Company’s New Breed 2018, choreographer for Meet Your Maker, Brisbane Festival 2024, movement direction for Sunshine Super Girl. Katina is also a founding member and Co-Artistic Director of Dance Makers Collective.
