Sinsa Mansell

Sinsa Mansell

Sinsa Mansell, a Trawoolaway Pakana woman from Larapuna in Lutruwita/Tasmania, will serve as the symposium’s cultural witness and lead the cultural close. A cultural leader, choreographer, performer and co-founder of pakana kanaplila, Tasmania’s traditional and contemporary Aboriginal dance troupe, Sinsa has helped reclaim and revitalise cultural practice through dance, song and storytelling. Her work carries ancestral knowledge into contemporary forms, strengthening cultural identity and connection across generations.

As Senior Producer of Performing Lines TAS, Sinsa supports independent artists to develop and share their work. Her practice connects cultural leadership, artistic creation and producing. Sinsa will reflect on the day’s conversations and creative sharings, bringing them together through cultural responsibility and the futures being imagined for First Nations dance.
