Daniel Riley is a Wiradjuri man from western New South Wales and Artistic Director of Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) on Kaurna Yarta. He is the sixth Artistic Director in the company’s history and the first Blak artist to hold the position. Under his leadership, ADT has created and toured major new contemporary dance works nationally and established initiatives supporting First Nations dancers and choreographers, including BLAK FUTURES and GROUNDswell. Daniel sits on the inaugural Creative Australia First Nations Board, the Reference Group of A New Approach, and is the Ambassador of Quantum Leap Australia.
