The Performing Arts Exchange (PAX) is APACA’s flagship networking and development event. It’s a face-to-face market which brings together producers and presenters from across the country to create and maximise touring opportunities and build relationships.
PAX is the essential marketplace for programmers, presenters and producers. Whether it’s to buy work, find creative or presenting partners or build your network, this is the place to be. APACA’s 31st annual performing arts conference “Outside, In” and the national Performing Arts Exchange [PAX] will take place at The Concourse, Sydney between August 21 - 24 2017.
- PAX will open on Monday 21 August and close on the evening of Tuesday 22 August.
- The conference will open with a drinks function on the evening of Tuesday 22 August and conclude with the conference dinner and Drover Awards on Thursday 24 August.
PAX provides this year’s best opportunity to genuinely connect with artists, arts managers, programmers and other industry professionals from right across the country. Importantly, it’s also the prime platform to seek out the shows and projects that will feed your audiences over the coming years. During Outside, In our international and local speakers will focus on innovative partnerships, examine the unconscious biases and encourage the industry to look outward beyond the ‘usual suspects’ and invite people into their business to make it richer and more diverse.
